Goodiebox ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ Unboxing April 2020

I’ve been away for a while. With all the craziness going on in the world right now and in my private life, I couldn’t focus on making any blog posts. But today I received my Goodiebox subscription box and I decided to take my mind to more pleasurable space.

Before we get into the unboxing, I have to admit that my skin is going through some rough time and I am not sure what causes this problem. I can only guess it’s a mixture of weather changing and higher than usual stress levels. This month’s Goodiebox contains products that can help me with getting it back to normal šŸ¤žšŸ»

Ecooking Cleansing Gel

Ecooking brand is very often included in Goodiebox subscription boxes but I don’t complain about it. I’ve enjoyed their day cream and serum, now it’s time for cleansing gel.

It’s vegan and fragrance free. It contains vitamin E and cucumber extract. In Goodiebox we get a sample size of 125 ml, which is worth ā‚¬17.86. Full size product is ā‚¬28.58 for 200 ml, so I don’t think I can complain about “sample” size. It allows me to test the product many times.

PESTLE & MORTAR Pure Hyaluronic Serum

This serum is meant to hydrate, soften and plump the skin. It’s designed for all the skin types and 2-3 drops are enough for one use, according to the instructions. To be honest, I am not a big fan of serums, because I feel like they make me glow like a lightbulb. But we’ll see about this one šŸ˜¬

Full size product is 30 ml and costs ā‚¬43. In Goodiebox we got a sample of 6 ml, worth ā‚¬8.60.

DR BOTANICALS Lemon Superfood All-In One Rescue Butter

Next product is something that my skin really needs right now. It’s a ‘rescue butter’ which can be used in 3 ways – as a moisturizer, a treatment and as a cleanser. It contains lemongrass oil with vitamin C and A and coconut oil. I plan to use it on my the most dry spots and hands, because they suffer from disinfection.

I’ve received Dr Botanicals hand cream before in Goodiebox and it was the best hand cream I’ve used so far. It’s also cruelty free, which is a big plus for this brand.

Full size is 50 ml valued at ā‚¬18.

Since my skin problems started, I see a lot of pimples coming out. I’ve never had this problem before, so I guess Goodiebox just reads my mind. I’m sure that (unfortunately) I will be able to test those pimple patches soon…

We received full size package with 22 patches valued at ā‚¬13.

PAESE Argan Micellar Solution

Last but not least, a product I am really curious about. It’s a micellar solution without fragrance manufactured in my country of origin – Poland. I’ve never heard about Paese brand before, and it seems like they don’t have a big presence in social media or stationary stores like some other brands.

I use micellar water daily, so it is a product I will use for sure!

Full size product is 210 ml valued at ā‚¬9.95.

Total value of Goodiebox April 2020

When it comes to the value of all included products, it’s ā‚¬67.41. Monthly Goodiebox subscription is ā‚¬19.95 per month. I think that this month’s Goodiebox theme “Perfectly Imperfect” fits… perfectly. Lately I feel like we get a lot of similar products (especially face creams/serums) that I’m not able to use up before the next box comes.

Products I would not be able to use go to my friends and family who may enjoy it more than I would. So nothing goes to waste.

But as I said in my previous unboxing posts, Goodiebox subscription is more about the experience and trying products that I wouldn’t pick up on my own. “Perfectly Imperfect” box focuses on skin care and I feel like I need (or should at least try) most of those products because my skin really needs help these days.
